We have seen desperate poverty this year. Delivering food to an elderly man in Appalachia, we saw a man who was chopping up the floorboards of his home for heat. This is just one of the sad and heartbreaking examples of the poverty our Medical Missionaries volunteers witness daily.

St. Joseph Clinic’s Breadfruit Project continues to grow and make progress in helping to combat malnutrition in Thomassique, Haiti.
In October Medical Missionaries held the yearly Caring Hearts Online Auction, loaded containers that are being sent overseas to help multiple organizations, began a food and toy drive for those in need in Appalachia.
